Wha to wear for my first track practice?

In general for the heat you should wear clothes that are designed to wick the sweat and can easily breath so you won't be over heated. Essentials for track would be a track tank top, racing shorts and either compression socks or running socks. You should also have a pair of spikes, t-shirt, running pants and jacket. Bring a gym bag with your i-pod, water or sports drink, sun-glasses, sun-block and anything else you might need? Meets can take the whole day so it's best to come prepared maybe even a pillow for the ride home. Good luck!
