How do I use MSDOS to run a game?

I just found my old of Mantis XF5700 cd rom. I remember using ms-dos to run and play the game, but I can't remember it now, and I guess I never wrote it down. The CD is in Drive E, and the only part I remember is typing E: at the command prompt box to switch the directory from c to e. I don't even know if that's right. Please help if you can!
