What distro of Linux should I use?

Well, linux distros are good enough nowadays. I suggest you to use Ubuntu because it's the most popular linux distribution (according to DistroWatch.com). It has community and support from its developer. Also, some netbook product which has linux as the OS, use Ubuntu. So, it must be has a good driver support.
