What are the bumps on my upper legs and wha can I do to get rid of them?

On my thighs I have small bumps that are an eye sore to me. I think they're very unattractive and I want to wear shorts but these bumps stop me. What are they and how can I get rid of them? They don't hurt and don't itch; they're just there. Help me! Please and thank you! :)
